JOIN INDIA MOVEMENT IN HYDERABAD
- In 1923 there was a meeting of indian national congress
- Due to heavy rains trains have been diverted to hyderabad and the INC sabha was held at Haripura
- on 16th april 1938 there was a communal clash at Dhoolpet
- due to the communal clash many of them has done satyagraha and that is known as "JUNG AND SINGH"
- the responsibility was handed over to Raavi Narayana Reddy to establish a branch of congress at hyderabad
- Burgula Ramakrishna rao,Ramananda theertha,sirajul hasan thirmiji, paandu ranga joshi ,harishchandra eda,janardhan G.ramachary,R S naik all participated in a sabha
- on 1938 jan 29th hyderabad state congress was established
- the all people of the HSC decided to conduct a meeting of INC at hyderabad on 1938 sept 9th
- the Hyderabad PM of Nizam announced that Hyderabad state Congress was prohibited at hyderabad on 1938 sept 7th
Reasons for prohibition of HSC sabha
- for using the word "congress"
- HSC is also a Hindu organisation like Arya samaj
- All are hindus in this organization
- Govinda Rao Nanel was Action commitee president released a Hyderabad state congress policy statement
- It consists of 1.HSc is a pure social organization and cultural organization 2. It is not a religious organization like Arya samaj
- He made 17 batches for function of HSC
- If any meeting in hyd is religious or cultural or any type of meeting they have to take nizam permission for this they made G.O no 53
- G.O no 52 was named as "Gasthi Nishan Tirpan"
- Repala camp was in between khammam, warangal and nalgonda
- Head of Repala camp was Hayagreeva chary
- Swami Ramananda theertha has conducted an Individual satyagraha at putlibowli at bommala bavi and their demand for the prohibition of HSC sabha
- Govinda Rao Nanel, Ram kishan Dooth,Mr Raavi Narayan Reddy,Sreenivas Rao Bolita,these all leaders had done satyagraha at British residency on 1938 oct 24
- And the all leaders were arrested
- Swami Ramananda Theertha had done satyagraha as 2nd dictator
- All the activists has done satyagraha against the prohibition of the HSC
- For this the activists has been arrested and 3 years of rigurous jail punishment has been given to him
- kashinadh Rao vaidya, Gopala dev sathoo,mandamula Ramachandra Rao who were members of 17th force were ordered to stop satyagraha by GANDHI
- on 1946 june 3 the prohibition was lifted on HSC by nizam government
- The British announced that they will provide Independence if they help British in 2nd world war
- And this is also called as Diwali Prakatana
- The Nawab of chattari was sent by nizam to meet cabinet mission plan
- On 1944 july 26 hyderabad nawab released a pharmana that is Hyderabad state never found the representative government
- Hyderabad state government announced that they are not merging into India
- Andhra Mahasabha has taken a decision to ArmedSrtuggle
- Hyderabad nizam needed a coordination between INC and NIZAM
- On 1947 june 16,17,18 at musheerabad jail grounds they arranged a meeting of INC
- The head of this meeting was Swami Ramananda Theertha
- In that sabha they have some slogans they are i) congress ki jindabadh ii) Merge Hyderabad into India iii) Gandhi ji ki jai
- on 7th Aug 1947 Swami Ramananda Theertha has organized an organisation named "Join India Movement"
- Hyderabad State Congress has changed it's name to Hyderabad National Conference
- Harish chandra Heda, Gnanakumari Heda, GS melkote, Vimala bhai Melkote, Padmaja Rao,Vinayaka Rao vidyalaya all participated in flag hoisted at sultan bazar by minister Mothilal
- These all people were arrested by Nizam people
- P V Narsimha Rao has taken Head on Border Flag Hoisting
- On Aug 16th 1947 Nizam Nawab Released a Pharmana that Pharmana prohibited flag hoisting on hyderabad state
- Kaarodgiri means a tax on vegetables ,milk,curd etc..... from the boundary states
- And the people don't want to pay a Kaarodgiri tax
- The tax on Toddies and palm wine was also not paid and that tax is called as Abkari tax
- In karimnagar,Adilabad dist the Farmers has cut the trees of toddies
- And the death of bahadur yar jung was suspicious
- A person who has a comprehensive understanding between Hindus and muslims was Bahadhur yar jung
- Qasim Razvi was just a blind supporter of muslim religion and he was a great scholar
- Rajakars was a private Army of Qasim Razvi
- For this potection Against Razakars villagers formed a Gram Rakshak Dhalalu and also Gorilla Dhalalu
- on 1947 july Nawab Chetari,Sir Sultan Ahmed,Nawab ali yawar zung has sent to delhi to discuss with lord mount battern
- Lord Mount Battern and Mancton are Friends and Mancton and Nizam are also friends
- Stand Still Agreement was prepared by chettari nawab and Lord Mancton
- And 9 days were the tenure to make the agreement between the two parties
- Qasim Razvi rejected the Stand Still Agreement
- New P M was appointed by Nizam was Mir Layak Ali under the guidance of mohammad ali Zinna
- on 1947 Nov 29 a deligation was sent to delhi and signed on stand still Agreement
- Important points of Stand Still Agreement
- Transport ,Security ,International Affairs of Hyderabad are Responsibility of India
- Indian Union should not keep their forces at Hyderabad
- The Two countries Hyderabad and India are equal
- If any disputes occur Between two countries only discussions should be done
- To implement the stand still agreement one agent of delhi should be at Hyderabad and Agent from hyderabad sohould be at Delhi
- This agreement is for 1 year
- The agent general of Hyderabad is KM munshi appointed from Delhi side
- Jain Yar Jung Bahadhur was appointed at Delhi
- Nizam Nawab called it as a Dead letter
- Nizam Nawab didn't allot any shelter or facilities to K M Munshi
- Indian Union Asked KM munshi to Suggest a suggestion
- Nizam Nawab purchased weapons from the Chekoslevia
- International smuggler "Sydney Carton" Has Brought to the Hyderabad and Purchased Weapons
- In BB nagar Nizam Nawab has given party and they Insulted the women
- He gave loan to the pakistan without the permission of the Central Government
- on 1948 Aug 21 the great Shoyabulla khan Editor of Imroz paper was killed bt Rajakars
- If Nizam doesn't behave in a rightway the action will be taken
- These are the 3 done by Nizam
- Hyderabad Nawab Requested London PM Atil to Interfere but he said to solve the issue by discussion
- He requested President of Us - He said that the matter is sensitive
- He Prepared Rajakars
- On 1948 sep 9th the government of India Determinde to take Police action on Hyderabad
- On sep 10th Jawaharlal Nehru warned to do Behave in a Good Manner.
- On 13th the Army of India started from Delhi
- They faced Rajakars and also communists
- Nizam surrounded the Hyderabad on sep 17th 1948
- A L Endruzz destroyed the flag of Asaf Zahi and dehosted the flag
- J L chowdary hosted the flag of India

Burgula Ramkrishna Rao Ministry
- Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, the first elected chief minister of the Independent State of Hyderabad, was born in 1899 in Padakallu village of Mahbubnagar district. Born in a Telugu Brahmin family he became famous by his village name Burgula. His surname ‘Pullamraju’ got changed to Burgula.
- He was elected from Shad Nagar constituency and appointed as a cheif Minister for the period of 1952-56
- From 1956-60 worked as a Kerala Governer
- From 1960-62 worked as a UP Governer
The programs and Activities of Burgula Ramakrishna Rao
- Burgual Ramakrishna Rao was worked as Education and Revenue Minister
- A commitee was appointed by the central government to look after the development of Hyderabad
- A.D Gorwala committee was appointed for the development of the Hyderabad state
- AD Gorwala committee made the recommendations in financial and administration sector
- If we implement these recommendations then the state will gate the surplus revenue of 3.52 lakhs
- Burgula Ramakrishna Rao government strongly implemented the implementations in 1952 for the Financial Equilibrium
- V P MENON the secretory of the home department in that time described that how the government had implemented the Recommendations of the Gorwala committee in his book "The story of the Integration of Indian States"
Land Reformations
- The first state that implemented Land Reforms in India
- The first land Reformation act came into force in 1949
- It is also called as Jaagir Abolition Regulation Act of 1949
- According to this act all jaagirs were Abolished
- Surfecause land was handed over by this act
- the revenue from the surfecause land of Hyderabad state is 124Lakhs
- the jaagir system was being implemented in overall India like Gwalior(MP),Malwa(mp),Indoor, That,Devas...
- In 1949 jaagir abolition act didn't consider about landholding Hyderabad tendency and agricultural land act of 1950
- It came into force on 10th jan 1950,It came to protect the tenants of hyderabad
- one who seeking to be as a permanent or protected tenant or a protected farmer,he must be cultivated that land 6years respectively they should not give up in the middle of the tenant period
- they should not return this land to a owners
- A person who was declared as a protected tenant he will get permanent rights on the land there is no BEDHAKAL
